Zac Swansey hit a game-winning three-pointer with 1.4 seconds left to give Tennessee Tech a 71-68 win over Austin Peay on Thursday night.

"That was tough," Swansey said. "It was 40 minutes of tough basketball. They're No. 1 in the conference (and still are even with the loss, tied with Tennessee State for the league's top spot) and that's where we want to be. The guys made plays, and that shot was just the last play."

As a member of Georgia, he performed the same feat against Kentucky in the 2008 SEC tournament, leading the Bulldogs to an NCAA Tournament berth.

Earlier this season, Swansey buried a deep jumper with 4.5 seconds left to lift Tech to a 65-64 win over Eastern Illinois.
